2010 UPOz Summer League Posted on 2010-05-03
Ultimate Players of the Ozarks is happy to announce our annual COED recreational Ultimate Summer League which is geared toward providing an outlet of play for players of all ages and skill levels. This will be a great opportunity to get out this summer, make some new friends, get in shape, and play the fun and exciting sport of Ultimate. Everyone and anyone is welcome to join the league regardless of skill level and experience. The league is not only designed to teach the game to beginners, but also to help strengthen the skills of the more experienced.

Troy's Bucket Tryouts Posted on 2010-04-06
We're pleased to announce the second season of Troy's Bucket, a competitive mixed team based out of Springfield, MO. With a universe point loss last year in the game to go to Regionals, this year Troy's Bucket is looking to do some damage in the Central Region.
Troy's Bucket is looking to recruit some new and fresh talent to its 2010 roster and hopes you'll be a part of it.
What does TB expect?
Troy's Bucket is a competitive ultimate team first and foremost but never at the loss of the Spirit and Community of Ultimate. We pride ourselves on the positive attitude, determination, and fun spirit that we bring to the game of Ultimate. TB is also geared toward increasing our knowledge and abilities in the sport of Ultimate to make us all better players.
Who can try out?
Everybody and Anybody regardless of skill level, age, or residence is encouraged to tryout. You do not have to reside in Springfield to play on the team. (However, if you make the team, you will be expected to keep up with team workout regiments and strategies on your own)
How do I try out?
Our primary tryout date is scheduled for May 9th from 10:30-2:30 in Springfield. We encourage everyone that is able to make this tryout date. If you are unable to make this tryout and are still interested in joining the team, then please shoot me a message to discuss other options.
Tryout Information:
Sunday, May 9th
Registration will be from 9:30-10:30. Please show up sometime within this hour to register and cleat up.
Tryouts begin at 10:30 sharp and will not include anything too strenuous.
Callback/Team Information:
A second "invite-only" tryout will take place at Mayfest Memorial in Kansas City on May 22nd/23rd.
After Mayfest, the roster will be set. Troy's Bucket will travel to at least 4 tournaments throughout the summer culminating in the UPA series in the fall where a bid to Nationals is our goal.

BIFI is back and better than ever. 1-day Co-ed Savage 7 format (5/2) max. of 9 on roster (you can only sub in between games, not points). $100 per team. Lined fields, bagels, bananas, water, etc. We are working on some other sponsors as well to make it even better.

Frostbite 2010: March 13-14, 2010 Posted on 2010-02-23
Frostbite is back again this year and is going to be bigger than
ever! Last year Luther (College) and Kansas Betty's (Women) both
walked away with our coveted glass trophies, $300 each in prize money,
plus some free merchandise while Springfield Alumni took the Open
Division.
Every year we strive to make our tournament the best we can, so here
are some new additions for 2010:
