Mission Statement

"Ultimate Players of the Ozarks serves as a regional resource for the promotion, education, and growth of the sport of Ultimate throughout Southern Missouri."

Our goals include the following:

  • To promote the sport of Ultimate throughout Southern Missouri
  • To provide an outlet of play at every skill level
  • To provide various leagues throughout the year
  • To run tournaments enhancing competitive play
  • To provide educational resources to both Physical Educators and Park Systems
  • To run clinics and seminars educating the public about Ultimate
  • To obtain and manage field space reserved for Ultimate
  • To establish and promote national caliber teams
  • To raise money benefiting the awareness of the sport in the area

    Ultimate Players of the Ozarks (UPOz) is a non-profit organization based in Springfield, MO, currently applying for 501(c)(3). Through the teaching and encouragement of Ultimate, our organization strives to promote community values such as mutual respect, fair play, and physical conditioning. Our focus is coed recreational and youth play, however we do support both club and college teams through resource sharing and minor financial support. UPOz.org serves as a tool for the Ultimate community, not just our members, providing up to date information and resources.
