Bio: The Drury Ultimate Frisbee team was recognized as an official club sport by the University in September of 2008. Since then, it has seen its numbers grow to approximately twenty-five active members. After practicing/picking up/having fun every week, the team took on a more organized form when it scrimmaged a local college and entered into the annual Frostbite tournament hosted by Missouri State some months later. After an impressive showing for any first-year program in the tourney, the team continues to build its membership and promote the sport of Ultimate on Drurys campus as the year ends. The team hopes to expand both in numbers and skill level as a new freshman class comes to Drury next year under the leadership of junior Colin Barker and several other upperclassmen.
